Jörg Meyer

Jörg Meyer is an attorney and special counsel for industrial property rights.

For more than 20 years he has specialised in “IP”, i.e. intellectual property law (trademark & design law, patent & utility model law and copyright), unfair competition law and the protection of trade secrets. In these areas, Jörg Meyer advises and represents clients comprehensively, never losing sight of the relevant economic aspects.

Among other things, Jörg Meyer assists with the selection, protection and enforcement of trademarks in Germany and abroad, manages international trademark portfolios and provides guidance on the permissibility of advertising. His core competencies include conducting complex court proceedings relating to trademarks and other identifiers as well as product design. The latter may include patent or utility model infringement proceedings, but also based on design or registered design law and the law of unfair competition. He also frequently advises and represents clients with regard to the protection of their trade secrets and their infringement.

Jörg Meyer's clients come primarily from industry and the real-estate sector.

He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and Copyright (GRUR) and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
